Paul Magee to pursue other projects outside of Salmat

Announcement today that Paul Magee, Executive General Manager Salmat Speech Solutions, has left to pursue other entrepreneurial projects outside the communications arena.

Following Salmat's acquisition of VeCommerce in 2006, Paul has embedded the business into Salmat and is now wanting to move on to other new and emerging business opportunities.

Salmat has appointed Allan Burdekin as acting Executive General Manager. "We are embarking on exciting initiatives in all our regions and look to take the speech and voice biometrics business into the next dimension focusing on a broader range of industry verticals and deployment options where we can partner with our customers to drive enhanced business outcomes in customer engagement, efficiency gains and next generation identity management solutions.  We have the precise blend of capability and capacity to really drive our business forward. Whilst we are sad to see Paul go, we wish him well in his new ventures and will be looking forward to see what he brings to bear in the future", said  Mr. Burdekin.
