The New South Wales Police Assistance Line (PAL) is used for non-emergency calls to the police. 

Handling over 172,000 per annum, the NSW police were looking for a solution that enabled them to streamline their corporate communication services and ensure that they were efficient and cost-effective. 

Salmat was appointed to help them achieve their strategic goals. Since implementation, over 80% of the 3,000 weekly calls to the switchboard, are automated. Other achievements include a reduction in time spent on calls, reduction in misdirected calls and an improved customer experience.
